Abstract

Zusammenfassung Von größter Bedeutung für den Inhalt und späteren Erfolg einer Verfassung ist, wer den Text der Verfassung konkret erarbeitet und bestimmt, wie die Verfassung dann in Kraft gesetzt wird. Denn diese Personen geben den Rahmen vor, in dem sich das künftige staatliche Leben entfaltet. Je nachdem, wie die Verfassungsorgane erstmalig besetzt werden, können sich dabei für bestimmte Personen oder Parteien erhebliche Startvorteile gegenüber anderen Personen oder Parteien ergeben. Denn klar ist: Wenn die neue Verfassung einer historisch patriarchal geprägten Gesellschaft ausschließlich von alten weißen Männern entworfen wird, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit groß, dass junge schwarze Frauen auch in der neuen Verfassung tendenziell geringere Chancen haben, politische und wirtschaftliche Macht zu erringen. Deshalb jetzt die Frage: Wer waren die Väter des Grundgesetzes? Und gab es auch Mütter?
