Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir sind konfrontiert mit einer stetigen Zunahme von Gesundheitsdaten, die jedoch derzeit für klinische und Sekundärnutzung nur zu einem Bruchteil verwendet werden. Um die beste Gesundheitsversorgung, mit hoher Patientensicherheit, effektiven Prozessen, hoher Qualität und optimalen Ergebnissen zu schaffen, gilt es die Nutzung der Daten zu verbessern und neue Technologien wie maschinelles Lernen und künstliche Intelligenz zum Einsatz zu bringen. Bisher bewährte Datenmanagement-Modelle wie Datawarehouses sind zu statisch und unflexibel und reichen für den Aufbau zukunftsorientierter Lösungsplattformen nicht mehr aus. Im Beitrag wird aufgezeigt, welche neuen Möglichkeiten es durch Technologien, wie das Cloud-Computing, Datalakes und den zweckbasierten Datenmodell-Ansatz (Purpose Based Data Model) gibt, um die passende Technologie mit dem relevanten Datenmodell für das jeweils bestmöglich zu erzielende Ergebnis einzusetzen.
