Abstract

Zusammenfassung Pflegenotstand und Fachkräftemangel prägen die heutige Zeit. Vor diesem Hintergrund rückt die Erfassung und Quantifizierung der Prozesse im Krankenhaus zunehmend in den Fokus, da nur mit effektiven und effizienten Prozessen eine resiliente und nachhaltige Patientenversorgung sichergestellt werden kann. Die gemeinsame Bewertung der Prozesse im Krankenhaus, sowohl aus qualitativer als auch aus quantitativer Sicht, ermöglicht dabei eine ganzheitliche Sichtweise und somit ein umfassendes Verständnis der Prozessabläufe. Auf diese Weise ermöglichen die Prozesserfassung und -quantifizierung im Krankenhaus eine evidenzbasierte Entscheidungsfindung, eine kontinuierliche Prozessverbesserung und eine bessere Nutzung von Ressourcen, was letztendlich zu einer optimierten Patientenversorgung führt.
