Erwartungen und Entwicklungslinien des Controllings im Krankenhaus

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Controllingaufgaben werden in deutschen Krankenhäusern häufig von unterschiedlichen Abteilungen wahrgenommen. Dies fördert nicht unbedingt die Effizienz, aber auch nicht die Effektivität der Erfüllung der Aufgaben und dient nicht immer der Erreichung der Organisationsziele. Das institutionalisierte Controlling als Ganzes wird sich aber zukünftig weiterentwickeln und eine (gesamt-) systemkoppelnde und -bildende Aufgabe nach Horvath übernehmen müssen. Dazu muss u. a. das kaufmännische Controlling noch weiter von der Kosten- zur Ergebnis- und Prozesssteuerung übergehen und versuchen alle zu Verfügung stehenden Informationen und Daten aus den medizinischen und pflegerischen Leistungsbereichen sowie von den Stakeholdern zu verarbeiten und zu nutzen. Neben der operativen Ebene betrifft dies auch im erheblichen Umfang die strategische Ebene, insbesondere die regulatorischen Veränderungen (z. B. Einführung von Leistungsgruppen in NRW) fordern dies ein.
