Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Nutzung von Patientenakten, Behandlungsdokumentation und Patientendaten sind in Gesundheitssystemen von zunehmender Bedeutung. Liegen die notwendigen Informationen zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort vor, kann die Diagnose und Behandlung von Patienten erleichtert und unterstützt werden. Unter Beachtung eines notwendigen Compliancerahmens, in dem Datenschutz und Datensicherheit gewährleistet werden, können neben der Primärdatennutzung auch Potenziale für die Sekundärnutzung gehoben werden. In der Praxis zeigt sich jedoch, dass dieselben Begrifflichkeiten oftmals unterschiedlich definiert sind. Der folgende Beitrag gibt daher einen Überblick über ausgewählte und im Krankenhaus gängige Begriffe im Kontext Patientenakte, Behandlungsdokumentation und Gesundheitsdaten.
