Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine Krisenprävention oder Krisenvorsorge liegt vor, wenn in aktiver Form operative wie auch strategische Maßnahmen zur Krisenverhinderung initiiert werden, ohne dass aktuell bereits eine Krise vorliegt. Krisenprävention baut darauf auf, dass bestehende Risiken erkannt und entsprechende Maßnahmen zum Risikomanagement bzw. zur Risikosteuerung eingeleitet werden. Vor allem bei externen Störgrößen gravierenden Ausmaßes (z. B. Cyber-Angriffen) soll gewährleistet werden, dass das Unternehmen seine Geschäftstätigkeit erfolgreich weiterführen kann (Business Continuity Management). Eine Krisenresilienz kann erreicht werden, wenn das Unternehmen so aufgestellt wird, dass es eine hohe Widerstandskraft gegenüber Kriseneinflüssen in der Zukunft besitzt.
