Abstract

Zusammenfassung New Work bei TUI ist eng verbunden mit der Transformation des Unternehmens vom klassischen, eher regional ausgerichteten Reiseveranstalter zum internationalen Tourismusunternehmen mit eigenen Fluggesellschaften, Kreuzfahrtgesellschaften, Hotels sowie einem eigenen Angebot für Ausflüge. Mehr internationale Zusammenarbeit zwischen Märkten und Funktionen, mehr global organisierte Geschäftsprozesse und nicht zuletzt die konsequente Digitalisierung von Prozessen und Produkten sind einige der Gründe, warum sich bei TUI die Arbeitsweisen in den vergangenen Jahren tiefgreifend verändert haben. Die Corona-Pandemie wirkte dafür als Beschleuniger, die Voraussetzungen für moderne Arbeitsformen wurden allerdings bereits in den Jahren zuvor gelegt. Die 2022 implementierte People Strategy der TUI Group spiegelt die Transformation der Arbeit und die Transformation der Organisation wider.
