Abstract

Zusammenfassung Welche Faktoren entscheiden über Erfolg bzw. Misserfolg grenzüberschreitender Unternehmenszusammenschlüsse oder -übernahmen? Weswegen scheitern viele, speziell internationale M&A-Projekte? Welche Rolle spielen kulturelle Aspekte und wie können diese erhoben werden? In welcher Phase des Merger-Prozesses setzt man am besten und mit welchen Maßnahmen an, um kulturelle Dimensionen einzubeziehen? Welche sind die besonderen Herausforderungen an das Management? Was ist zu tun, wenn interkulturelle Konflikte auftreten? Wie kann die rasche Entwicklung einer konstruktiven Unternehmenskultur in internationalen Organisationen unterstützt werden? Diese und weitere Fragen werden analysiert sowie Lösungszugänge aufgezeigt. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei das phasenorientierte, integrative Kommunikationskonzept einer Inter-Cultural Due Diligence, welche sowohl Unternehmens- als auch Länder- und Branchenkulturen berücksichtigt.
