Abstract

Chapter 6 is dedicated to the core task of leading employees and communicating with stakeholders. With the help of a framework, four sub-tasks are distinguished: (1) creation of a positive dynamic in top management, (2) leadership, (3) communication with external stakeholders, and (4) communication of the supervisory board with middle and lower managers and employees. The four sub-tasks are then described. Finally, the responsibilities of the supervisory and executive boards regarding leadership and communication are defined.
