Abstract

Zusammenfassung Warum erlebt Open Innovation gerade jetzt eine Renaissance? Ursprünglich aus der High-Tech-Branche stammend, haben sich für Open Innovation durch die digitale Transformation erweiterte Kooperationsmöglichkeiten ergeben. Viele Unternehmen sehen in Open Innovationeinen Weg, um mithilfe externer Ressourcen besser, schneller und kostengünstiger zu innovieren. Lieferanten, Kunden und viele andere Anspruchsgruppen können so nahtlos in den Innovationsprozess integriert werden. Co-Innovationen führen zu einer besseren Abbildung der Kundenwünsche, was sich in einem immer größeren Wunsch nach Zusammenarbeit niederschlägt. Dies erzeugt Marktreaktionen, wodurch Unternehmen angehalten werden, Lösungen mit Kundenbeteiligung umzusetzten. In diesem Market-Pull-Ansatz gewinnen Apekte wie Beziehungen und soziales Kapital an Bedeutung. Open Innovation dient als Grundlage für interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit und Geschäftstätigkeiten in offenen Ökosystemen. Es reflektiert die aktuellen Werte einer sich stetig öffnenden Gesellschaft, in der das Austauschen von Informationen und Wissen, sowie Kollaboration und Personalisierung von Lösungen zentral sind.
