Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ist die Schöpferische Zerstörung eine Dystopie oder Chance? Das Leben der meisten Menschen wird längst von digitalen Aspekten wie Daten, Künstliche Intelligenz, Vernetzung, Plattformen und digitalen Kundeninteraktionen bestimmt. Die digitale Transformation ist ein Prozess und hat längst begonnen und trotzdem gibt es immer noch Unternehmen, die ihre Geschäftsmodelle nicht an die neue Realität angepasst haben. Um in Zukunft erfolgreich zu sein, müssen Unternehmen die Auslöser und Charakteristiken der digitalen Transformation verstehen und lernen mit Diskontinuitäten umzugehen. Der Finanzsektor hat ein verlorenes Jahrzehnt hinter sich, andere Sektoren konnten aber von disruptiven Technologien profitieren und erfolgreiche Ökosysteme aufbauen. Digitale Innovationen haben einen hohen strategischen Wert und Disruption wird dann zu einer Chance, wenn sich Unternehmen an die neuen Wettbewerbsregeln anpassen und sich mit branchenfremden und agilen Start-ups einlassen. Das digitale Paradigma ist digital, modular und offen für alle, die einen Beitrag zu Kundenmehrwert und dem Gemeinwohl leisten können.
