Abstract

Zusammenfassung Was bedeuten Veränderungen für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft? Wir leben in einer komplexen und dynamischen Welt, wo diverse Trends und Ereignisse, wie die Internetblase, Finanzkrise oder der Ukraine-Krieg, die vernetzte und globalisierte Welt erschüttern. Dies hat Auswirkungen auf Konjunktur- und Transformationszyklen. Technologie erzeugt Innovationen, andererseits treiben neue Werte und Kundenbedürfnisse die Entwicklung von digitalen Möglichkeiten voran. Aktuell befindet sich die Menschheit an der Schnittstelle von einer neuen Weltordnung zu virtuellen Welten. Wenn Branchen und Technologien sich vereinen (konvergieren), kann ein offenes und digitales Ökosystem als Katalysator dienen, um sich besser auf Kundenbedürfnisse einzustellen. Dazu müssen Unternehmen ganzheitlich und vernetzt Denken und Schlüsselprinzipien wie Offenheit, Agilität und Ambidexterität verstehen und für die Entwicklung nachhaltiger Geschäftsmodelle nutzen.
