Abstract

Zusammenfassung Immer wieder entstand in unserem Projekt der Eindruck, sowohl die an VR- und GL-Mandaten interessierten Frauen einerseits als auch die Unternehmen andererseits würden auf die jeweils andere Partei warten, dass sie aktiv wird. Damit beide zueinander finden, kann es nur die Empfehlung geben, dass beide Seiten ihre Verhaltensweisen verändern. Teilweise mag die Forderung ungerechtfertigt erscheinen, wenn Männer im Laufe ihrer Karriere sehr viel häufiger auf Jobs hin angesprochen werden, während Frauen sich umfassender darum bewerben müssen. Unternehmen mögen heute noch aus einer Machtstellung des Stärkeren heraus argumentieren, die ihnen keine Verhaltensänderung abverlangt. Doch gerade sie könnten umfassend von einer Neuerung ihrer Vorgehensweisen profitieren und eine Veränderung der für Boards typischen Managerprofile erwägen. Für beide Seiten werden nachfolgend Vorschläge unterbreitet, was sie tun können, um auf den jeweils anderen besser zuzugehen – um die Grundvoraussetzung dafür zu schaffen, zusammenzufinden.
