Abstract

Zusammenfassung Auktionen sind eine übliche Methode zur Erfassung und Abschöpfung der Preisbereitschaft (Diller & Hermann, 2003). Die Digitalisierung hat ihre Verbreitung verstärkt (Skiera & Spann, 2003, S. 625). Bekannte Beispiele für On- und Offline-Auktionen bieten die Unternehmen Google, Ebay, Ricardo.ch, Christie’s, Sotheby’s, United Charity und MyHammer. Auktionen erhöhen die Markttransparenz und intensivieren den Wettbewerb durch räumliche und zeitliche Marktverdichtung.
