Abstract

Zusammenfassung Getrieben durch unterschiedliche Faktoren wächst der Onlinehandel, so auch der Handel mit Lebensmitteln. Im Sinne eines Omnichannelhandels komplettieren einige Lebensmitteleinzelhändler ihre traditionellen Absatzkanäle um einen Onlinekanal. Die Wachstumsraten von Lebensmitteln, die online bestellt wurden, sind beachtlich, wenn auch von einem sehr niedrigen Niveau ausgehend. Dieser Trend spiegelt ein sich veränderndes Kaufverhalten wider, den physischen Einkauf durch den Einkauf im Internet zu ergänzen oder zu ersetzen. Auf der Welle der wieder an Bedeutung gewinnenden Nachhaltigkeit schwimmend, wird E-Grocery, der Onlineeinkauf klassischer Lebensmittel, oftmals als nachhaltigere Form des Einkaufs bezeichnet. Ist dem so oder gibt es Hinweise, die eine ganzheitliche Nachhaltigkeit von e-Grocery zur Diskussion stellen?
