Abstract

Zusammenfassung Autorität ist nicht gleichzusetzen mit Macht, obgleich Autorität eine Form von ihr ist. Sowohl Macht als auch Autorität sind das Gegenteil von Gewalt und Zwang. Durch einen aktiv gestalteten Evolutionsprozess des Bewusstseins zu Autorität lassen sich auch scheinbar feststehende Machtasymmetrien in Bewegung bringen. Dieser zunächst in einem Individuum beginnende Transformationsprozess entfaltet sich durch Interaktion in sozialen Systemen. Jede Transformation ist mit Konflikten verbunden. Deren Energie können Menschen in Organisationen mit einer transformativen Haltung zu Autorität nutzen; sie können Gleichwertigkeit und Co-Führung in Führungsbeziehungen entstehen lassen, ohne Führung aufzugeben. Diese sich in Organisationen mit der Zeit daher ausbildenden Kompetenzen können Menschen nutzen, um auch als BürgerInnen den gegenwärtigen politischen und ökonomischen (Dis-)Kurs zu verändern.
