Abstract

Zusammenfassung Familien und Organisationen sind gemeinhin klar voneinander unterschieden. Im Falle von Unternehmerfamilien ist das anders; diesbezüglich können wir beobachten, wie eine ungewöhnliche Verbindung entsteht: eine Familienorganisation mit formalen Strukturen der Governance, wie Regeln und Prozesse der Kommunikation und Entscheidung sowie ihrer Durchsetzung und Implementierung. Diese Strukturen können als Versuche interpretiert werden, Probleme der Macht zu lösen, die aus den hier eng verkoppelten Kontexten von Familie, Eigentum und Unternehmen entstehen. In diesem Beitrag liegt der Fokus auf der (auch beispielhaften) Beschreibung von Machtdynamiken in Unternehmerfamilien und den Formen ihrer Bearbeitung. In diesem Zusammenhang werden zwölf Fragekomplexe bzw. Schritte der Strategieentwicklung für und in Unternehmerfamilien skizziert, mit denen Machtfragen adressiert und in einer für diese Familienorganisationen angemessenen Form bearbeitet werden.
