Abstract

Zusammenfassung Durch den Vergleich der (scheinbar) so verschiedenen Organisationen Klöster und Familienunternehmen schärft sich das Verständnis für beide. In diesem Beitrag wird gezeigt, dass beide Organisationen mit sehr ähnlichen Herausforderungen konfrontiert sind. Deshalb werden hier zur guten Führung auch ähnliche Managementkompetenzen benötigt. Diese Führungskompetenzen sind jedoch nicht (nur) die in anderen Unternehmensformen üblichen wie: Fachexpertise, Controlling, Markt- und Wettbewerbskenntnisse etc., sondern es sind gerade Kompetenzen, die häufig von außen sogar als Inkompetenz und/oder Unprofessionalität wahrgenommen werden. Doch genau diese anderen Kompetenzen sind es, die beiden Organisationen das Überleben über viele Jahrzehnte, ja bei Klöstern sogar viele Jahrhunderte, sichern und es ermöglichen, im eigentlichen Sinne nachhaltig erfolgreich zu sein.
