Abstract

Zusammenfassung Als Zwischenfazit der letzten 20 Kapitel können wir sagen, dass es für die Gestaltung der Zukunft wichtig ist, die Ergebnisse der Wissenschaft für die Gesellschaft nutzbar zu machen. Die betrifft sowohl die praktische Nutzung in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft als auch das allgemeine Wissenschaftsverständnis in der Gesellschaft. Das gilt für uns alle. Jede:r kann in diesen beiden wichtigen Bereichen Transfer und Bildung mitwirken. Es sind die Menschen als Individuen, welche den Erfolg ausmachen. Daher haben wir in den vorangegangenen Kapiteln die Verantwortungsbereiche der handelnden Menschen in ihren verschiedenen Rollen beleuchtet. Für jede einzelne Person geht es dabei sowohl um kurzfristige persönliche Entscheidungen als auch um langfristige Aktionsmöglichkeiten und Wirkungsbereiche, aber nicht zuletzt um die persönliche Weiterentwicklung. Im Zentrum stehen die Fragen an und selbst: Was wollen wir wissen und verstehen? Wie wollen wir handeln? Wer wollen wir werden?
