Abstract

Zusammenfassung Klinische Studien sind die Grundlage für eine Vermarktung von Medikamenten. Mit rund 1460 Mio. US Dollar Kosten repräsentieren diese rund 57 % der Gesamtkosten einer Medikamentenentwicklung bis zur Zulassung. Ein Teil dieser Kosten entsteht durch den hohen Aufwand im Zuge der Erhebung, Verwaltung und Analyse von Daten. Können digitale Research & Development (R&D) Plattformen den komplexen Prozess der klinischen Forschung unterstützen?
