Abstract

Zusammenfassung Viele Unternehmen versuchen, dem Fachkräftemangel mit unterschiedlichen Methoden zu begegnen: Kompetenzentwicklung der eigenen Fachkräfte, Nachwuchsförderung oder das Anwerben geeigneter Fachkräfte. Unter Letzteres fällt auch das Anwerben internationaler Fachkräfte. Doch häufig scheuen sich Unternehmen davor, weil sie sich vor allem mit organisatorischen und rechtlichen Hürden konfrontiert sehen. Auch andere Aspekte wie der „cultural fit“ werden von vielen Entscheidungsträger*innen als Herausforderung gesehen. In diesem einleitenden Kapitel stellen die Autorinnen die Ausgangslage, das Ziel und den Aufbau des Fachbuches entlang der Employee Journey internationaler Fachkräfte dar. Die Grundlage des Fachbuches ist dabei die von den Autorinnen durchgeführte Studie zur Perspektive der internationalen Fachkräfte, um einen Perspektivwechsel zu ermöglichen und neue Wege zum Finden, Binden, aber auch zum Entwickeln internationaler Fachkräfte in der DACH-Region.
