Abstract

Zusammenfassung Unternehmen müssen sich stetig an eine sich ändernde Umwelt anpassen. Dies gilt im besonderen Fall beim Auftreten von Krisen. Business Development im Sinne einer strategischen und proaktiven Weiterentwicklung ist daher für alle Unternehmen von zentraler Bedeutung, um ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu erhalten bzw. weiter auszubauen. Der Beitrag gibt einen guten Überblick über die einzelnen Schritte im Business Development Prozess und nennt zudem entsprechende Praxisbeispiele: Ausgehend von der Erhebung sowie Beschreibung erkannter Kundenprobleme und des Abgleichs mit der Strategie des Unternehmens werden Ansätze gezeigt, wie man sich der Lösung des Problems z. B. mit Hilfe des Business Model Canvas nähern und es anschließend bspw. mit dem Instrument des Brandscripts vermarkten kann. Auch wird auf die Rolle der Künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) für das Business Development eingegangen und die damit verbundenen Chancen und Risiken dargestellt.
