Abstract

Zusammenfassung Robotic Process Automation (RPA) ist ein Oberbegriff für die Automatisierung digitaler, regelbasierter Geschäftsprozesse über die Benutzeroberflächen von Anwendungssystemen (vgl. Lacity et al. 2016a). Diese Veröffentlichung thematisiert die Implementierung von RPA in der Logistik. Im nachfolgenden Abschn. 1.2 wird zunächst die Motivation für diese Themenauswahl erläutert. Daran anknüpfend konkretisiert Abschn. 1.3 die Zielsetzung und Abschn. 1.4 stellt die Gliederung des Buchs vor.
