Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bereits im Jahr 2011 wurde die gleichlautende Initiative „Industrie 4.0“ im Rahmen der Hannover Messe durch deren geistige Väter Wolfgang Wahlster, Henning Kagermann und Wolf-Dieter Lukas veröffentlicht. Der Begriff Industrie 4.0 hat sich etabliert, da es sich mit der Einführung von neuen Technologien und der dadurch ermöglichten Autonomisierung um die vierte industrielle Revolution nach der Mechanisierung, der Massenfertigung durch Elektrifizierung und der Computerisierung handelt. Abb. 7.1 zeigt den historischen Verlauf dieses industriellen Wandels.
