Abstract

Zusammenfassung Fliegen, Weltall und Abenteuer, das sind Nicola Winters Leidenschaften. Nicola Winter war Deutschlands zweite Kampfflugzeugpilotin, Fluglehrerin und Stabsoffizierin bei der Bundeswehr. Sie verfolgte ihren Kindheitstraum vom Flug ins All und wurde als Astronautin-Trainee von der Initiative „Die Astronautin“ ausgewählt, welche erstmals eine deutsche Frau ins All bringen wollte. Neben ihren Erfolgen bei der Bundeswehr und in der Raumfahrt engagiert sich Nicola Winter als Rettungssanitäterin und Rettungshubschrauberpilotin.
