Abstract

Zusammenfassung In der Definition des Fundraising-Begriffs (Kap. 1 ) wurden vier Gruppen von Ressourcenbereitstellern (Privatpersonen, Unternehmen, Stiftungen und öffentliche Institutionen) unterschieden. In Kap. 3 wird das Vorgehen im Fundraising bei Unternehmen vorgestellt. Basierend auf dem Konzept der Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) werden alle in der Praxis gebräuchlichen Formen der Unterstützung gemeinwohlorientierter Organisationen durch Unternehmen detailliert vorgestellt und anhand zahlreicher Best Practice Beispiele anschaulich erläutert: Von der Unternehmensspende als Geldspende (Corporate Giving), Sachspende oder Zeitspende (Corporate Volunteering) über das Sponsoring und Cause-Related Marketing bis zur Bereitstellung von Infrastruktur und der Errichtung einer (gemeinnützigen) Unternehmensstiftung (Corporate Foundation). Das Management dieser Form des Fundraising wird genauso behandelt wie das Volumen der zur Verfügung gestellten Ressourcen und ethische Aspekte. Zahlreiche Abbildungen, Tabellen, Tipps, Kapitelzusammenfassungen und Literaturempfehlungen runden das Kapitel ab.
