Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit der Frage, wie Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), aber auch die Kombination beider, Mixed Reality (MR), im Pflegesektor konstruktiv eingesetzt werden kann. Hierzu werden zunächst die jeweiligen Technologien definiert und vorgestellt. Weiterhin wird der aktuelle Forschungsstand des Pfleginnovationszentrums (PIZ) zu den jeweiligen Themen sowie Bedarfe der Pflege für die Entwicklung der jeweiligen Technologien diskutiert. Der Beitrag endet mit einer Positionsstellungnahme zum Thema „Die Zukunft von AR/VR/MR in der Pflege“.
