Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit den Fragen, wie im Bereich der Pflege ein Hemmnis für technologische Innovationen entsteht und wie die Einführung und Nutzung assistiver Technologien dadurch dauerhaft behindert werden kann. Ergebnisse der Fokusgruppeninterviews zeigen, dass Reaktionen der Pflegenden auf die technologischen Innovationsbemühungen oft durch ein Oszillieren zwischen Offenheit und Skepsis gekennzeichnet sind. Viele Pflegende zeigen sich einerseits offen gegenüber technischen Hilfsangeboten, solange deren Funktionsweisen im Einklang mit ihren ethisch-normativen Vorgaben stehen. Sie äußern aber andererseits große Besorgnis darüber, dass der zunehmende Technologieeinsatz zwangsläufig mit vielen Zusatzbelastungen und für sie unakzeptablen Veränderungen der Pflegepraxis einhergeht. Aus dieser Ambivalenz entwickelt sich eine Kritikkultur, die verstärkt durch Dissens im klinischen Umfeld als ein generalisiertes Misstrauen gegenüber dem Technisierungsschub institutionalisiert wird.
