Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Schaffung moderner Strukturen und die Einführung qualitätsorientierter Methoden war für das Bewerbercenter der Stadtverwaltung Köln eine längere Reise. Der Fachkräftemangel im öffentlichen Dienst führte auch in der Stadtverwaltung Köln zu verstärkten Bemühungen um Personal. Die Ausweitung des Personalmarketings brachte einen positiven Marketingeffekt, führte jedoch zu vergleichsweise wenigen Neueinstellungen. Weil der Aufwand in keinem Verhältnis zum Nutzen stand, wurde der gesamte Personalauswahlprozess neu ausgerichtet. In diesem Beitrag erfahren Sie, wie die Stadtverwaltung Köln dieses Change-Projekt angegangen ist, welches Umdenken notwendig war und welche Hindernisse aus dem Weg geräumt werden mussten.
