Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel erläutert das Verfahren zur Einbehaltung der Abgeltungsteuer, soweit sie bereits an der Quelle einbehalten wird. Das System des Kapitalertragsteuerabzugs bleibt auch für die Zeit nach 2008 erhalten. Insbesondere die inländischen Zahlstellen (z. B. Banken und Sparkassen) sowie inländischen Schuldner (z. B. GmbH) führen die Kapitalertragsteuer für den Anleger an das Finanzamt ab. Soweit der Kapitalertragsteuerabzug der Steuerschuld des Anlegers entspricht, wird die Abgeltungsteuer durch den Steuerabzug definitiv. Sonderfälle wie Depotübertrag oder Ersatzbemessungsgrundlage werden in diesem Kapitel ebenfalls beleuchtet.
