Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bevor wir uns dem eigentlichen Thema dieses Buches – Ihrem Power BI-Projekt –Power BIProjekt widmen, möchte ich einen kurzen Umweg mit Ihnen gehen. Grundlage unserer Arbeit mit Kunden ist immer die Frage nach der besseren StrategieStrategie. Über die Entwicklung solcher Strategien ranken sich allerlei Mythen. Bei der Frage, wie man pragmatisch – also ohne große Philosophie dahinter – effektive Strategien entwirft, spielen auch Simulationen und Analysen eine große Rolle. Insbesondere aber die hohe Schule der StrategieentwicklungStrategieentwicklung, das SzenarioSzenarien-Management, ließ sich quantitativ bislang kaum mit erschwinglichem Aufwand bewerten. Und so bleibt es bei den meisten Strategien bei einer qualitativen Einschätzung, also der Frage, ob eine Strategie einen Impact haben wird. Mit Power BI können auch mittelständische Unternehmen mit kleineren Ressourcen abschätzen, wie groß dieser Impact wohl sein kann. Beginnen wir also mit einem kurzen Abstecher in das strategische ZukunftsmanagementZukunftsmanagement.
