Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Nutzung digitaler Lösungen zur Unterstützung ländlicher Gebiete und insbesondere älterer Menschen ist das Ziel der Forschungsprojekte „Digitales Dorf Bayern“ und „BLADL“. Ältere Menschen fühlen sich im Umgang mit digitalen Technologien oft überfordert. Eine Umfrage in zwei Modellgemeinden ergab, dass die Angst vor Betrügern und mangelndes Wissen die häufigsten Gründe sind, die ältere Menschen von der Nutzung digitaler Technologien abhalten. Auf dieser Grundlage wurde ein kombiniertes Bildungskonzept aus Schulungen und unterstützenden Sprechstunden konzipiert und evaluiert. Die Ergebnisse einer quantitative Studie unter Teilnehmer:innen eines entsprechenden Angebots (N = 100) zeigen, dass Schulungen in Kleingruppen in Kombination mit unterstützenden Sprechstunden sehr gut geeignet sind, die Medienkompetenz bei älteren Menschen langfristig zu fördern. 82 % der Befragten gaben an, dass sich ihre Medienkompetenz nach der Teilnahme an einer Schulung verbessert haben (n = 74).
