Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das „Digitale Dorf Bayern“ – eine Initiative der Bayerischen Staatsregierung – verfolgt das Ziel in verschiedenen, bayerischen Modellregionen durch Nutzung der Potenziale der Digitalisierung die alltäglichen Herausforderungen des Lebens auf dem Land zu meistern. Seit 2017 werden im Rahmen der Initiative fünf Projekte umgesetzt. Dieser Beitrag gibt zunächst einen Überblick über die Handlungsfelder, die in den Projekten als Orientierungsrahmen dienen, und deren Herleitung. Daran schließt sich die Vorstellung der drei vom Technologie Campus Grafenau, einer Forschungseinrichtung der Technischen Hochschule Deggendorf, betreuten Projekte an: „Digitales Dorf Spiegelau – Frauenau“, „Digitales Alpendorf“ und „Digitale Hörnerdörfer“. Neben demografischen Daten wird auf die Besonderheiten und Herausforderungen in den drei Regionen eingegangen und durchgeführte Teilprojekte betrachtet.
