Abstract

Zusammenfassung Artificial Intelligence ist in aller Munde und doch verstehen bisher die wenigsten Menschen ihre Funktionsweise, welche Technologien ihr zugrunde liegen und welche Fähigkeiten AI heute bereits besitzt – und, vor allem, welche nicht. In diesem Kapitel werden Machine Learning und Deep Learning als die für die Praxis entscheidenden Teildisziplinen der Artificial Intelligence erklärt, große AI-Mythen aufgelöst und ein grundlegendes begriffliches wie technisches Verständnis für die weitere Auseinandersetzung mit Artificial Intelligence und Data Science geschaffen.
