Abstract

Zusammenfassung Creative „Prof. Dr. Kai von Luck promovierte in der Informatik an der Universität Hamburg, habilitierte an der TU Berlin, ist seit 1992 Professor an der HAW Hamburg. Er ist Leiter des FTZ Smart Systems. Seine aktuellen Forschungsthemen umfassen Künstlche Intelligenz, virtuelle und angereicherte Realitäten sowie Smart Environments.“ Labs an Hochschulen sind Labore, die sich als Orte der Innovation und Wissensgenerierung betrachten. Hier trifft einerseits wissenschaftliche Theorie auf empirische Praxis. Umgekehrt können auch praktische Erfahrungen Forschungsanlässe erzeugen. In kurzen und schnellen Zyklen phänomen-geleitet arbeiten Labore dieses Typs als Knotenpunkte zwischen verschiedenen Disziplinen, zwischen Hochschulen, Unternehmen und Zivilgesellschaft. Dieses komplexe Zusammenspiel aus temporären Kollaborateuren, flexiblen Themenverschiebungen und wechselnden Aktionsformaten benötigt eine klare Identität und eine gewachsene Kultur der Zusammenarbeit. Solchen Laboren und Labor-Kulturen widmet sich der Beitrag am Beispiel des „Creative Space for Technical Innovations“ (CSTI) an der HAW Hamburg.
