Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Übergang der Finanzkrise hin zur Eurokrise kann als fließend bezeichnet werden. Nachdem die in Abschn. 4.3.1 und 4.3.2 skizzierten fiskal- und geldpolitischen Maßnahmen in Folge des Ausbruchs der Finanzkrise ihre Wirkung entfalteten und zu einer deutlichen Entspannung des Bankensektors beitrugen, wogen hingegen die Kosten der Bankenrettung aufseiten der Eurostaaten so schwer, dass diese drohten unter dieser Last zusammenzubrechen. Der zweite Entwurf des FMStFG Anfang 2011 sowie die Wiederaufnahme der Sondermaßnahmen der EZB Mitte 2010 können dabei als Beginn der Eurokrise angesehen werden, welche auch als Staatsschuldenkrise bekannt wurde.
