Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Gesamtumsatz der deutschen Autoindustrie lag 2019 bei knapp 450 Mrd. EUR. Fast gleichauf lagen die Gesundheitsausgaben in Deutschland mit rund 400 Mrd. EUR. Beide Branchen gehören damit zu den wichtigsten in Europa, haben aber scheinbar kaum Berührungspunkte. Dabei liefert das Thema „Incar-Wellbeing“ oder „Automotive Health“ viel Raum für Innovationen und Transformationen für die Mobilität. Am Beispiel des Schlaganfalls machen wir deutlich, dass die Zeit, die wir regelmäßig im Auto verbringen, sinnvoll für ein kontinuierliches Gesundheitsmonitoring eingesetzt werden kann.
