Abstract

Zusammenfassung Traditionelle Kennzahlensysteme werden den Ansprüchen eines dynamischen und turbulenten Wettbewerbsumfelds kaum gerecht. Ihnen mangelt es an Zukunftsfokussierung, da sie sich primär aus Zahlen der Vergangenheit berechnen. Ebenso vernachlässigen klassische Kennzahlensysteme „weiche“ Faktoren (wie die Kundenzufriedenheit), sie sind im Kern monetär geprägt. Weiterhin fehlt ihnen ein echter Strategiebezug, wie auch die Ableitung von Kausalzusammenhängen. Schließlich leiden klassische Kennzahlensysteme unter einem hohen Aggregationsgrad, indem untere Organisationsebenen darin kaum gewürdigt werden (vgl. Gleich 2021; Werner 2020).
