Abstract

Zusammenfassung Chinesische Unternehmen erkennen auch wegen des immer schärfer werdenden Wettbewerbs und mit zunehmender Aufmerksamkeit für die stetig wachsende Mittelklasse, dass Innovation unerlässlich ist, um neue Kunden an bessere Produkte zu binden. Unternehmen wie Baidu, Alibaba und Tencent sind längst bekannte Erfolgsgeschichten des digitalen Chinas. Ungeachtet der vielen Erfolge verfügt China über ein politisches System, das trotz seines Engagements für Innovation und Kreativität eine Einschränkung der geistigen Freiheit mit sich bringt. Das ändert nichts an Chinas Drang nach draußen mit großen Investitionen im Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung sowie einer Vielzahl von Firmenübernahmen in Deutschland und dem Rest der Welt.
