Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Klinikum Dortmund hat seit 2010 die Inhalte und die Prozesse der medizinischen Dokumentation an die jeweils aktuellen Möglichkeiten und Notwendigkeiten angepasst. Dies verlief nicht immer linear. Die bis dahin bestehenden Organisationsvorgaben, klinischen Gepflogenheiten, eintrainierten Handlungsketten und auch die wirtschaftlichen Möglichkeiten mussten beachtet werden, um den gesetzlichen Vorgaben aus dem Datenschutz und zahlreichen anderen Rechtsvorschriften zu genügen. Waren 2010 noch ungezählte Mitarbeiter mit einer täglichen Suche nach Informationen aus der Dokumentation beschäftigt, so sind heute nur noch wenige Mitarbeiter notwendig, um diese Logistik und auch alle administrativen Aufgaben bei der Erstellung und Nutzung von Dokumentation zu ermöglichen. Primär erfolgte eine systematische Analyse der Ausgangssituation noch ohne Fokus auf eine Digitalstrategie. Im weiteren chronologischen Verlauf wird deren Entwicklung beschrieben.
