Abstract

Zusammenfassung In so gut wie jedem Unternehmen wurden mittlerweile Digitalisierungsinitiativen gestartet. Schnell stellt sich die Frage, ob diese strategisch in die richtige Richtung laufen, ob sie sich nicht überschneiden und ob diese nicht durch zentral entwickelte Ansätze ergänzt werden sollten. Soll die Initiative für eine Transformationsstrategie eher vom Top-Management kommen, oder soll dieses nur den Rahmen setzen? Auch muss die Frage beantwortet werden, wer eigentlich den digitalen Wandel eines Unternehmens steuert – ist das die Aufgabe des IT-Bereichs oder vielleicht die eines neu einzusetzenden Chief Digital Officers? Wann machen digitale Geschäftsbereiche Sinn? Auf diese Fragen will dieses Kapitel erste Antworten liefern.
