Abstract

Zusammenfassung Durch die Digitalisierung und digitale Transformation finden vermehrt Maschinen, physische Roboter und Softwareroboter Einzug in die Arbeitswelt. Dies führt auch zu einer Erhöhung der organisatorischen Resilienz im Zusammenhang mit Unternehmensprozessen. Speziell im Bereich Kaizen, wo der Mensch stets im Mittelpunkt steht, wird sich diese Thematik herausfordernd gestalten. Neben der technischen Machbarkeit stellt sich die Frage, inwieweit Digitalisierung und Automatisierung in der Kaizen-Philosophie Platz finden. Die Ergebnisse der empirischen Untersuchung zeigen, dass die digitale Anwendung der aktuell eingesetzten Tools und Methoden der Kaizen-Beratung limitiert ist. Daneben beeinträchtigt das fehlende Know-how der Menschen über die Funktionsweise der maschinellen Tätigkeiten die erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit zwischen Mensch und Maschine. Für die Kaizen-Beratung wird es zukünftig gelten, die Balance zwischen kontinuierlichen kleinen Schritten und der Optimierung ganzer Prozesslandschaften zu finden.
