Abstract

Zusammenfassung Deutschland gilt als das Land der Dichter und Denker – Kunst und Kultur haben seit jeher einen hohen Stellenwert. Dennoch müssen sich die Kulturbetriebe hierzulande mit Themen der Digitalisierung auseinandersetzen und ihre Chancen ausloten, um auch für ein zukünftiges Publikum interessant zu bleiben. Daher beschäftigt sich der folgende Beitrag mit der Frage, welchen Einfluss die Digitalisierung auf das Angebot von Kulturbetrieben hat und wie sie die Chancen nutzen können, um ihre Angebote in eine digitale Welt zu überführen und weiterzuentwickeln. Denn nur, wenn Kulturbetriebe einen ganzheitlichen Transformationsprozess – angefangen bei der internen Organisationskultur – wagen, gelingt es ihnen, neue Geschäftsmodelle zu etablieren und ein breites Publikum anzusprechen. Daher zeigt der Beitrag auch Modelle zur Strategieentwicklung auf und skizziert Beispiele einer gelungenen digitalen Transformation als Orientierungshilfe.
