Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das zukünftige Modell der Stadt ist entscheidend für die Lösung vielfältiger Probleme des Megatrends Urbanisierung: Bezahlbarer Wohnraum, Verkehr, Landschafts- und Ressourcenverbrauch, Klima und sozialer Zusammenhalt. Eine Stadt ist so zu konfigurieren, dass sie für alle Menschen einen lebenswerten, bezahlbaren, nachhaltigen und umweltschonenden Lebensraum formt. Eine hohe bauliche Dichte sowie eine funktionale und soziale Durchmischung sind hierbei der Schlüssel zum Erfolg. Als Lösungsansatz bietet sich das klassische Konzept des beliebten, gründerzeitlichen „Blockrands“ an. Im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung ist jedoch eine Transformation dieses Konzepts in den modernen „Urban Block 4.0“ angeraten. Innovative Architektur und Immobilienformen sowie attraktive öffentliche Räume sind wichtige Elemente des neuen Gesamtkonzepts. Smart Solutions optimieren Ressourcenverbräuche, Mobilität und soziale Interaktionen. Für die erfolgreiche Realisierung des „Urban Block 4.0 im intelligenten Quartier“ jedoch sind umfassende gesetzliche Reformen notwendig.
