Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Klimawandel im Sinne von Erderwärmung wird nicht alle Regionen, Bevölkerungsgruppen und Wirtschaftszweige gleichermaßen treffen. Auch wenn alle Einschätzungen dahin tendieren, dass der Gesamteffekt negativ sein wird, so wird es Gewinner und Verlierer bzw. Risiken und Chancen geben. Die Versicherungsbranche ist geradezu das Paradebeispiel für diese Ambivalenz. So sind durch einen allgemeinen Risikoanstieg die versicherten Exposures unmittelbar negativ betroffen; hieraus können sich aber auch neue Geschäftsansätze ergeben.
