Von operativer Projektperformance zur strategischen Unternehmensperformance: Innovatives Multi-Projektportfolio-Modell im Anlagen- und Maschinenbau

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Maschinen- und Anlagenbauunternehmen in Österreich wenden oftmals die Strategie der Diversifikation an, d. h. eine Ausweitung auf neue und innovative Produkte/Features bzw. auf unterschiedlichste Projektausprägungen, um Wettbewerbsvorteile gegenüber Marktbegleitern zu schaffen. Speziell in der produzierenden Maschinenbauindustrie resultiert dies in einem hohen Stellenwert der Forschung und Entwicklung (kurz: F&E) mit einer F&E Quote von rund 3 % des Umsatzes. Im industriellen (Groß-)Anlagenbau, mit internationaler Projektausrichtung, dem Unikatcharakter der zu liefernden Produkte sowie den risikobehafteten Projektkonstellationen, liegt der Hauptfokus in der terminsicheren Realisierung. In beiden Branchen ist aber die Notwendigkeit gegeben, die vorhandenen finanziellen und personellen Ressourcen effizient und effektiv einzusetzen und auf die Projekte zu verteilen.
