Abstract

Zusammenfassung Controller übernehmen in ihrer Funktion Verantwortung für zahlreiche betriebswirtschaftliche Themenstellungen. Sie unterstützen das Management bei der zielorientierten Steuerung des Unternehmens durch Planung, Kontrolle und Informationsversorgung. An Controller werden vielfältige Anforderungen gestellt, die in unterschiedlichen Unternehmenskontexten variieren. So beeinflussen beispielsweise Unternehmensgröße oder Internationalisierungsgrad das Controlling. Für die Umsetzung der Unternehmensstrategie und -ziele ist es erforderlich, das Controlling auf das jeweilige Unternehmen abzustimmen und die Stellenprofile von Controllern entsprechend anzupassen.
