CSR als Risikomanagement-Tool

Abstract

Zusammenfassung In der Unternehmenspraxis hat Risikomanagement eine unbestritten hohe Bedeutung. In einer kürzlich veröffentlichten Studie, in der CFOs zu Risikomanagement befragt wurden, gaben fast 90 % der befragen Manager an, Risikomanagement zu betreiben, um damit die erwarteten Cashflows absichern zu können. Mehr als 80 % sahen in Corporate Risk Management eine Möglichkeit, unerwartete Verluste zu vermeiden, und über 70 % stimmten zu, Risikomanagement als Tool einzusetzen, um die Cashflow-Schwankungen einzudämmen. Auch Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) als Risikomanagement-Instrumentarium ist in der Praxis bereits angekommen: In einer großangelegten, internationalen Befragung erklärten mehr als die Hälfte der befragten Manager, CSR zur Absicherung der Reputation des Unternehmens einzusetzen, 43 % der Befragten haben CSR bereits in ihr Risikomanagement-System integriert.
