Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag behandelt die Entwicklung des OR in der DDR als Teil der deutschsprachigen Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Dabei wird das besondere Verständnis dieser Disziplin als Wissenschaft, ihre gesellschaftliche Grundlage und die Arbeitsweise im Hinblick auf die politischen Wandlungen in der DDR beleuchtet. Den Schwerpunkt bildet die Anwendung in den Betrieben. Der Autor hat die Geschichte in unterschiedlichen Positionen und an verschiedenen Instituten selbst miterlebt. Es ist ihm wichtig, nicht nur Modelle zu präsentieren, sondern auch die Namen der fast vergessenen handelnden Personen zu dokumentieren.
