Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nicht zuletzt die globale Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise hat die gesellschaftliche Sehnsucht nach Werten in Wirtschaft und Unternehmen deutlich erhöht. Das Fehlen von generationsübergreifenden Vorbildern sowie der gleichzeitige Überhang an Information und Komplexität wecken das Verlangen nach allgemeinen Grundwerten, die Halt und Orientierung bieten. Dies wird auch durch die Frage charakterisiert, welche Rolle Werte und Normen im globalen Wettbewerb spielen. Typische Ereignisse und Sachverhalte, die das Thema so aktuell machen, sind:
